In the area known as Green Gables Shore, the largest provincial campground is Cabot Beach Provincial Park. This park is popular with families for its large playground, sandy beach and activity center with daily programming. Within 10 kilometers (6 miles) is the beloved Indian River Festival at the historic St. Mary’s Church. Only a short distance further is the famed Lake of Shining Waters at Park Corner.
